CSFF 2012 wraps up

(Toronto, June 9) – The 4th annual 2012 Canadian Sport Film Festival wrapped up this weekend, with four screenings at TIFF Bell Lightbox that included six premieres, and a special children’s workshop run in partnership with the NFB Mediatheque.

Closing night was highlighted by the special guests in attendance, who participated in Q&A sessions with audience members: Martin Guerin, director of Seeing Ali (left, below), and Henrik Lundgren, one of the members of the Stockholm Arts Swim Gents synchronized swimming club that is featured in the documentary film, Men Who Swim (right, below).

This was followed on Saturday by a special children’s workshop, which included a screening of The Swimming Lesson and an animation workshop.

The Canadian Sport Film Festival wishes to thank all our sponsors, donors, and committed audience members. We appreciate your support and enjoy sharing compelling stories about sport and physical activity told through film. We’ll see you again in 2013!
